We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired Word, was written by men divinely moved, and is the only authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
We believe that God is One and yet eternally existing in three co-equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in God the Father -- perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We rejoice in that He concerns Himself with the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
We believe in Jesus Christ -- God’s only begotten Son, virgin-born, sinless in His earthly life; thereby, making atonement by His blood for the sins of the world in His death. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, His perpetual intercession for His people, and His premillennial, visible return to the world according to His promise.
We believe in the Holy Spirit -- given forth by God to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ.
We believe that all men by nature and by choice are sinners but that God gave His only Son, as an expression of His deep love, to secure everlasting life to those who believe in Him ("For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” -- John 3:16). We believe, therefore, that those who accept Christ as Lord and Savior will rejoice forever in God’s presence, and those who refuse to accept Christ as Lord and Savior will be forever separated from God in hell.
We believe that Satan is a person and that hell is a place of eternal, conscious punishment of all unsaved.
We believe that every human being has direct relations with God and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith. We believe each church is independent and autonomous and must be free from any interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority.
We believe that, in view of the original purpose and continuous operation of God, all who are united to Christ by faith will infallibly continue in a state of grace. Furthermore, we believe that the doctrine of eternal security is one of the strongest incentives to action in conflict with sin.
