Pastor Steve Steinmetz came to Christ as a young boy in Waupaca, Wisconsin following the faithful witness of a neighboring family. The Lord put within his heart a sincere desire to know Him better, to serve Him faithfully, and to share His Word effectively. These resulted in the pursuit of formal training at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College (BS in Bible) and Calvary Baptist Seminary (M. Div.), followed by 8 years of ministry in Rockford, IL, before coming to Wisconsin Rapids in 1993. Pastor Steinmetz and his wife, Sharon, have been blessed with 6 children and 11 grandchildren. He has a heart to help and loves to see people find a relationship with God through Christ and to grow in that relationship. He stands ready to lovingly assist with the spiritual needs of people.
